Michael D Scott - UK Urban Fiction - HardPressed Publications
News . . . and stuff like that.
I admit it, when I began to write The Enemy of Mine Enemy I was taking the piss out of US 'news-stand' thriller . . . after ten chapters - I couldn't write another word. Lauren Townsend actually quite liked it. Renamed The Sins of the Father, she has rewritten some parts of the story, and I believe the novel is now 50% complete.
Absolution, my first novel is still undergoing revisions. The epic Anglo-American tale of gangsters brings new flavours and twists to the genre. Expect publication - soon.
Commercial interest in Fibonacci's Child continues although I'm disheartened by the changes requested by commercial publishers. Fib's Kid reigned supreme on the Harper Collins website where it has been ranked #1 for longer than other title in 2009.
2010 and Michael D Scott once again proves the popularity of his writing by making the Editor's list on the Harper Collins Website with Arbitration.

What's New and Exciting?
Little Miss Lighting
The e-book is for sale on Amazon, and I am still waiting for the Harper Collins review!
"This is How In Walk; in My Black Shoes" is about to have another story taken from it. After a proposal for at sitcom "ET2", the story The Best Years of our Lives is about to be re-written as a screenplay to provide the pilot episode.
Even More Exciting
Using death as a central theme they are putting an anthology together to demonstrate the short story art. With some of our favourite authors committed to contributing, you are guaranteed to be taken through the full range of emotions and be slapped by twists that you didn't see ever see coming.
Urban Chat
The HardPressed forum is currently in beta. The authonomy forum contains a number of members who are fed up with the Harper Collins unmoderated, troll infested site. There's no benefit to Hardpressed to provide alternative facilities - but how hard can it be. It is planned to have an international team of volunteers to moderate the site 24hrs a day.
What the Agent said
On behalf of other authors. I accosted literary agent Eve White with their questions. No more hearsay, she provided answers.
